“ This place was the tits. I was balls deep in my food. From the whole vibe of the restaurant and the staff was awesome. And our sever was a Florida native like me and my fiance and that made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back. The menu was perfectly executed just like our meal. And I can’t wait to try more of what they are throwing down back there in that kitchen. ”
“ I ordered takeout. The chicken was still crispy, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were great, definitely home made. The greens had a nice tang from vinegar. The pecan pie was a perfect treat to tie it together. Lemonade was perfectly sweet. I would order again for sure. ”
“ The fried catfish appetizer was the beginning of a night full of flavor. The catfish was seasoned and fried perfectly, crunchy on the outside but soft and flaky inside. For entrees we had the fried chicken with mac n cheese and mashers and the brisket with collard greens and mashers. The brisket was phenomenal. Melt in your mouth tender, perfect and well balanced seasoning and the right amount of sauce. The collard greens were also top notch, not soft and mushy but with the bitterness cooked out. The fried chicken was drool inducing with just enough spice to get your attention. Mac n cheese was very rich and cheesy. The mashers weren't great and were visually unappealing. Our friends had the grits as a side and offered us a taste...amazing consistency, seasoning and texture. Anytime I'm in the area I will make sure to stop in. ”
“ Omg I hardly ever eat everything on my plate. I'm usually a eat half and save the other half for lunch tomorrow type. But here I ate EVERYTHING!! I was stuffed but just couldn't stop eating. My friend and I got catfish and ribs and split it 50/50 five stars for each and five more for the collard greens. ”
“ I wasn't sure what to expect walking in as it was an eclectic vibe, and untraditional restaurant. The booths were held together by duct tape but it added a bit of charm. The food was absolutely incredible. Each dish we had was on point. Chicken poyboy, dirty Mac, gumbo, hush puppies and catfish were so good. The drink specials were plentiful and the one we had (can't remember the name) was perfect for a hot day. On top of all this, the service was amazing. Definitely go and enjoy this gem in Woodstock. ”
“ We shared the Fried Chicken Special- two breasts, four drumsticks, cole slaw and greens (subbed for mashers and gravy)- this was an incredible amount of food and so good for 20. The fried chicken at the Delta is some of the best in Portland. Wonderful cocktails, friendly service and a super relaxed atmosphere. Recommend! ”
“ Best vegetarian greens- smokey and flavorful I ate every bit. Tender and delicious beignets, and perfect biscuits. Music was really loud and I asked if they could turn it down it was really making my dad disoriented and nervous. They turned it down and were very nice about it. Super delicious and nice staff! ”
